The translation sucks as he**, I jbly got webtoon to read since the translation makes sense than this
Meh on Lily of the Valley
lily is just so immature, this is what ruins the manhwa, for the rest, im liking the story line.

Meh on The Iceblade Magician Rules Over the World
I liked the start, but as the story progressed, it started to become more and more inconsistent: аss-pull plot twists, tear-jerks, overwhelming absurdity. I felt like sometimes author was trippin on acid or something.
Pretty good on Director Kim
About 10 chapters in I had to stop, which is also a big ‘no-no’ for me as I won’t stop believing and I certainly hold on to this and every feeling. However, I had to take the midnight train going home.
Director Kim is a good story, a great story even. The art is sublime at times and the choreographical fight scenes were on point, or fleek as the kids say these days. “Why did you stop reading when you enjoy all the criteria?” You ask. Good question!
Spoilers:
I would have loved this a few years ago, giving it 5/5 on the above compliments alone. But now I am fighting against the one thing we can’t stop: time. Having a 3 year old daughter that my world revolves around, I can’t imagine a life without that precious little sociopath at all, and in this story - the MC goes through my idea of literal hėll. It has been glossed over slightly, but for all the doting parents reading this, or loving brothers or sisters with beloved siblings, choosing to read Director Kim will put you through the emotional ringer. Maybe I am going soft in my later years, who knows? Some of you may agree with me here when I say it is not an easy read to pick up for casual reading.
Going through the chapters where Kim’s daughter has been kidnapped (think Taken but minus a rampaging Irishman with a head cold), and he is losing his mind alone in his home - it broke me thinking about the possibility of that happening. The fact that he missed all the signs of her being bullied was a trigger too. Having this much impact within under 10 chapters is certainly a credit to the writing for sure on this piece.
Tl;dr.
Great story but brutally stomped all over the responsible, loving, parental guardian aspect inside of me. Hit too close to home and needed to check out early however totally recommend it to all those teen and above. Dark, gritty, violent, and that’s just my wife. Thanks for reading. -Surfa
